Security Leader Introduces New Technology to Streamline Password Reset Process
LAS VEGAS, NV and ATLANTA, GA (November 29, 2016), Gartner IAM Summit Booth #202 - Core Security®, a leader in Vulnerability, Access Risk Management and Network Detection and Response, today announced the release of Core Mobile Reset 1.0 and Core Access Insight 9.2. With the introduction of these solution updates, enterprise security teams will now be able to resolve immediate threats with prognostic analytics applied to the big identity and access data, while also enhancing organizational efficiency.
Ineffective password management is a significant burden to most organizations, resulting in increased costs and security risks. Core Security’s Mobile Reset authentication solution provides customers with greater efficiency by streamlining the password reset process on users’ mobile devices. Specifically, Core Mobile Reset provides organizations with:
- Self-Service: Allows users to manage their password reset when needed and unlock accounts easily using their mobile devices.

With the new update, Core Access Insight 9.2 now supports setting up Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies for Roles and Entitlements, so users can now create policies in the Manage Policy page to set up SoD Roles and SoD Entitlement policies. SoD Roles Violations checks for separation of duties between two roles and sends a notification and the SoD Reports section providing a comprehensive view of all SoD Violations. The new Access Insight builds on this market leading solution that Core Security released earlier in the year and now features major technology enhancements including an in-memory, graph database technology which is critical to manage and provides visibility on the complex, interconnected web of identity and account relationships.
