Marketing Executive Brings Expertise and Industry Experience to Enterprise Security Assurance Testing Leader
BOSTON, MA - June 9, 2008 - Core Security Technologies, provider of CORE IMPACT, the world’s most comprehensive enterprise security assurance testing software, today announced that Kimberly Legelis has joined the company as vice president of marketing. Legelis, who most recently served as director of North American Field Marketing at Symantec Corporation, brings more than 20 years of enterprise technology marketing, management and international business experience to Core Security.

In her most recent position at Symantec, Legelis led the company’s US and Canadian field marketing teams in support of millions of dollars of sales, including the management of account-based initiatives, pipeline acceleration, and demand-generation campaigns. Additionally Legelis also managed strategic partner marketing, and vertical industry solutions, where she engaged with numerous industry associations focused on critical issues of IT security, including the Financial Services Technology Consortium, the Anti-Phishing Working Group, and the American Bankers Association.

Before serving as director of North American Field Marketing at Symantec, Legelis held the position of product marketing manager for Financial Industry Solutions at Baltimore Technologies, a pioneer in the Web security segment. She also previously served as the international marketing manager at security services innovator GTE Cybertrust.
Legelis holds an MBA and Doctorandus from the Netherlands School of Business and a BS in Industrial Management and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
