BOSTON, MA - July 10, 2006 - Core Security Technologies, provider of CORE IMPACT, the first-to-market penetration testing product for assessing specific information security risks, today announced the appointment of Angiras Koorapaty as chief financial officer. In this capacity, Mr. Koorapaty will oversee the Company’s finance, accounting and administration operations, and will work directly with Core Security’s senior management team in support of its worldwide growth strategy. Koorapaty will report to Paul Paget, president and chief executive officer at Core Security Technologies.

Mr. Koorapaty joins Core Security from Webhire, Inc. (HIRE.PK), a provider of Internet-based recruiting solutions to large and medium-sized businesses, where as CFO he led all finance, administration, planning and investor relations functions. In addition, he was instrumental in their successful acquisition by Kenexa Corporation (NASDAQ: KNXA) earlier this year. Prior to Webhire, Mr. Koorapaty served as vice president and CFO for Corechange, Inc., an enterprise portal software provider, where he was responsible for finance, accounting, IT, HR, legal and facilities worldwide.

Previously, Mr. Koorapaty worked at Allstate Insurance Company for eight years, where he held progressively senior financial management roles. He began his career as an auditor in India and is a certified Chartered Accountant. Mr. Koorapaty holds an MBA from George Washington University in Washington, DC and a Bachelor of Commerce from Loyola College, in Madras, India.
