Jonatan Altszul

Core Security Technologies

Jonatan Altszul is co-founder and Managing Director of Aconcagua Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in hi-tech companies in the Latin American region to develop them into high growth global companies. He is also co-founder of Core Security Technologies and the Chairman of its Board of Directors.

Prior to founding Core, Mr. Altszul was a member of the Special Projects Group at the Argentine tax agency. This elite group evaluated and developed critical hardware and software security products for the agency in projects with budgets of up to $500MM. Before that, in 1989 he founded and, until 1992, served as the CEO of Datyl Systems, a company that developed the first commercial Geographical Information Systems software in Latin America . Also, in 1999, he co-founded Movilogic, a mobile solutions company based in
Buenos Aires.

In 2000, while leading CORE as its CEO, Endeavor Global, Inc., a non-profit supporter of entrepreneurship in emerging markets, selected Mr. Altszul as a top entrepreneur of the year. Jonatan Altszul actively supports the development of the High Tech Sector in Argentina. Jonatan is the proud father of Olivia and Tadeo.

Mark Hatton

Core Security Technologies

As president, CEO and member of the board of directors, Mark Hatton is responsible for setting Core Security’s strategic direction and overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations.

With over 20 years of progressively diverse general management, sales and operations experience, Hatton has established a proven track record for generating revenue, building operations and providing successful leadership and direction. He has held senior roles with companies ranging from venture capital-backed, early-stage software vendors to a Fortune 500 information technology services and distribution organization.

Prior to joining Core Security, Hatton was president of North American operations for Sophos. During his tenure, he was instrumental in significantly growing the company’s North American business and transforming the company into the one of the fastest growing and largest independent security vendors in the industry.

Hatton holds an MBA from Boston University, Massachusetts and a BA Communication from Westfield State College, Massachusetts. In 2006, he was inducted as a member into the prestigious Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), which includes more than 10,000 young global leaders in 80 nations.

Shinya Akamine

Independent

Mr. Akamine is the CEO of BlueRoads Corporation, which provides Channel Management solutions as an on-demand service. Previously he was the co-founder and former chief executive officer of Postini, the leading provider secure email boundary services and one of the world's largest and most profitable email security firms. At Postini, Mr. Akamine helped pioneer email security as an on-demand service and was awarded fundamental patents covering the email security managed service business model. Previously, Mr. Akamine served on the board of directors for Postini and LiveCapital (acquired by D&B), an on-demand credit management company. Mr. Akamine is the inventor of ten patents and was honored in 2004 with an Outstanding Inventor award by Stanford University. He was previously recognized by NTT in 1994 for the best research within NTT Worldwide.

Mr. Akamine earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Jeronimo Bosch

Pegasus Capital

Jerónimo Bosch is a partner of Pegasus, a principal investment firm based in Buenos Aires, focused on corporate private equity and real estate investments in Argentina.   He has 15 years of experience in private equity and venture capital investing, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring, corporate finance and real estate in Latin America and the US.  He is a Director of Freddo S.A., Farmcity S.A., Pegasus Real Estate Fund, Core Security Technologies and MasNegocio.

Before joining Pegasus in 2003, he was a vice president with Morgan Stanley´s Capital Partners Fund in Menlo Park, California, and an associate with Morgan Stanley´s Emerging Markets Fund in New York and São Paulo, Brazil.  Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was an associate and analyst at Salomon Brothers in New York.  He holds a B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires.

Peter Chung

Morgan Stanley Venture Partners

Peter Chung is a Managing Member of Morgan Stanley Venture Partners. Chung joined Morgan Stanley in 1993 in the Technology Corporate Finance Department and helped open Morgan Stanley´s
first Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park in 1994, where he focuses on technology investments. In addition to his role at Core Security Technologies, Mr. Chung holds several additional board positions including Perceptive Software, iRise, Plateau Systems, vBrick Systems, Sendmail and SOMA Networks. Chung is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Edward Hamburg

Morgan Stanley Venture Partners

Dr. Hamburg is a venture partner with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners. He advises and serves on the board of directors for several companies, including Interactive Intelligence Incorporated (NASDAQ: ININ), Interlink Electronics (OTC: LINK.PK), Perceptive Software, Inc. and ThruPoint.


From 1992 to 2004, Hamburg was executive vice president of corporate operations, CFO and corporate secretary of SPSS, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPSS), a multinational computer software company with $261.5 million in revenue in 2006. He was the head of SPSS business development from 1986 to 1992 after roles as a sales engineer, product manager, analytical consultant and trainer. Hamburg holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Robert Steinkrauss

Independent

Mr. Steinkrauss is chairman, president and CEO of ChosenSecurity, Inc., a leading specialist in identity verification and security services. Prior to ChosenSecurity, he served as president, chairman and CEO of Ingrian Networks, Inc., which offers a security technology that encrypts critical data in applications, files and databases. He has also held various executive positions that included chairman of the board of Authentica, vice president and general manager of the WAN systems group at Lucent Technologies, president and CEO of Xedia Corporation, and chairman, president and CEO of Raptor Systems.


Prior to joining Raptor in 1995, Steinkrauss held a number of executive positions at Racal Electronics PLC, including president and CEO of Racal Interlan, Inc. Additionally, he was the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Racal Milgo, Inc. Steinkrauss has also held international general management positions in Europe and Mexico with Unitrode. Steinkrauss received a B.S. in accounting from Boston College, graduating magna cum laude.
