WiFi Penetration Testing Advancement: WEP Attack ARP Reply
February 28, 2011 - This update to CORE IMPACT Pro’s WiFi penetration testing capabilities enhances the performance of the “Crack WEP WiFI Network” module. The update gives users the option to reply any ARP packets that are seen being sent to the wireless access point (AP) during testing. ARP Reply forces responses from the AP, which increases the number of packets seen by CORE IMPACT. This effectively reduces the amount of time required to crack the WEP key.
