Overview:
National security concerns along with many other industry-specific initiatives are already having dramatic impacts on utility markets and in-house operations. It is important to fully understand the collective commitment of key stakeholders throughout the control systems value chain. Although asset owners and operators bear the primary responsibilities in protecting industrial control systems to secure infrastructural assets, industry organizations and governmental agencies provide leadership, coordination, and investments to improve security. This session will explore the multi-industry cyber security implementation “roadmap,” to review who’s doing what within stakeholder groups and how these parties are collaborating to accelerate the protection of the nation’s critical infrastructure. In this session, you will also learn:
- Multi-sector regulatory standard landscapes, the latest cyber security issues and trends
- What resources are available to receive information about coordination and information sharing amongst stakeholder groups
- Overview of the future policy and regulatory actions and incorporating compliance measures into business plans
