Abstract:
The United States GAO is studying the National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace and other federal laws and policies that call for critical infrastructure protection activities intended to enhance the cyber and physical security of both public and private infrastructures essential to national security, national economic security, and national public health and safety. This facilitated discussion with cyber critical infrastructure protection experts in both the public and private sector is part of an initiative to identify national cyber security strategy shortfalls, their causes, and options for improvement.
