Front Lines to the Board Room

CEO Mark Hatton Keynote at ISSA CISO Forum Translates Security Risk to the Executive Suite While Company’s Solutions on Pedestal During SC Magazine Awards Ceremony

BOSTON - February 10, 2011 - Core Security Technologies, the market’s leading provider of IT security test and measurement software solutions, today spotlighted the executive keynotes and product showcase activities that will take place during the week of RSA Conference 2011, which is held February 14 to 18 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The ubiquity of Core Security’s products, executives and customers during one of the busiest weeks for the IT security industry demonstrates the prevalence of IT security test and measurement within IT operations.

Core Security’s vision is highly relevant today given the emerging nature of cloud computer models. The company is eager to participate at the Cloud Security Alliance meeting to be held the first day of the RSA Conference on February 14. Milan Shah, Core Security’s senior vice president of products, published a blog post that provides guidance to IT security executives and managers looking to build confidence in the security of their cloud computing deployments:

Even before the RSA tradeshow floor opens, Core Security will be on the ground in San Francisco discussing how security test and measurement has become crucial to ensure that critical IT assets are protected. President and CEO Mark Hatton will deliver the dinner keynote address to the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) CISO Executive Forum at 5 p.m. on February 12. The event will be held at the InterContinental Hotel.

“With Core Security’s CORE INSIGHT™ Enterprise, we’ve brought to market a product that not only tests and measures a company’s infrastructure to make sure that critical IT assets are not exposed, it also presents a new type of security intelligence that all audiences within a company, including chief security officials, receive to evaluate the security and risk of their enterprises,” said Hatton. “Through my keynote for the ISSA event, I look forward to demonstrating how leading security companies, such as Core Security, are building security offerings that can make CISOs and security professionals leaders in risk management within their organizations.”

ISSA is one of the world’s preeminent communities for global information security professionals. The group has more than 10,000 members with 140 chapters in 135 countries.

Steve Pace, Core Security vice president of sales and services, will be presenting at the America’s Growth Capital 7th Annual West Coast Emerging Growth Conference, which connects investors and corporations with some of the most innovative growing companies in the country. Pace will discuss Core Security’s success and market potential on Monday, February 14 at 3:30 p.m. The event is at the Westin St. Francis in Union Square in San Francisco.

The next night, Core Security will again be featured at the InterContinental Hotel, but this time during the SC Magazine Awards dinner, which will be held on February 15, the second night of the RSA Conference. SC Magazine judges selected Core Security’s CORE IMPACT Pro as a finalist in the Best Enterprise Security Solution category. This is the latest honor bestowed by SC Magazine, which recently named the product to the publication’s inaugural Innovators Hall of Fame.
