Account Development Representative

Account Development Reps proactively develop revenue-generating opportunities through inbound response follow-up, product education, and information gathering. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Qualifying sales leads generated through the Web, seminars, trade shows, and outbound cold calling activities
  • Making initial sales contact to evaluate and understand a prospect's business needs, assess their comprehensive IT security posture and make recommendations as to next steps
  • Taking leads and developing them into prospects by communicating CORE's value proposition and position messaging
  • Cold calling and identifying decision makers within accounts
  • Identifying high potential prospects and transitioning them to the sales team after a thorough needs analysis
  • Partnering with territory reps to determine a target list of accounts to penetrate on a quarterly basis against the territory plan
  • Effectively utilizing our inquiry rating and lead qualification system as well as documentation and tracking processes
  • Maintaining the database, including comprehensive data entry, setting alarms for follow-up, lead tracking and hand-off
  • Maintaining current knowledge of Core's products/services and competitive differences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant work experience 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using a CRM solution such as Salesforce.com  
  • Ability to meet or exceed individual goals set by team manager
  • Must be highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and flexible
  • Positive attitude, with the desire to work in a rapid-growth, entrepreneurial environment
